Using a photogrammetry workflow, I took a ton of photos of this stone water spike thing I found in Marymoore park in Redmond, WA. My process:
50-60 photos of the spike
Create model/ initial albido with 3DF Zephyr
Export to ZBrush and isolate main model from extra unwanted polygons
Retopo/ unwrap that retopo’d model in 3Dcoat
Re-import to 3DF Zephyr to get new albido (to be correct with new UVs on the lower poly model)
Tweek texture in Photoshop, and free it from any errors created
Using Substance Painter 2, bake Normals, AO, etc from initial super high poly model to low(er) poly model, and also clean up albido
Success.
